Why are there both DjVu and Adobe PDF formats?

The DjVu format uses much less storage space which also means that the newsletters will download in less time to your computer.

There has been some discussion as to whether we should continue to use the DjVu file format for our newsletters as some individuals have experienced difficulties with the browser plug-in. As a result, it was decided to continue the use of PDF files alongside DjVu files.

To view DjVu files, you need to have the plug-in installed in your internet browser.

To view Adobe PDF files, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.
